Williston Basin Speedway hosted their fair race this past weekend, June 25 and 26. Landon Gaudreau showcased his talent winning both nights.
On night one, Gaudreau charged from the 11th starting position to the race lead and held off current point leader Sage Borud for the win.
Ayden Hill, Denli Wendt and Matt Sorenson were the top five finishers after night number one.
On night two, things were a little easier for the Williston, ND driver as Gaudreau started second. Borud started on the pole pitting the top two in the point standings against each other for the win.
In the end Gaudreau out dueled Borud on this night. Denli Wendt was third with Ayden Hill and Hailey Mattox rounding out the top five.
The hard charger on night number two was Matt Sorenson coming from 12th to finish in sixth.
As the Slingshot class continues to grow in the Williston are it is expected that some of the drivers will make the trip to central Pa for the biggest Slingshot weekend of the year in October!
