Unbelievable Finale has Blanchet as Champion

Québec City’s Sabrina Blanchet is a Speedstr Champion. This title didn’t come without trial and tribulation in the closing moments of the season.

Blanchet only finished out of the top five one time throughout the season at Autodrome Drummond in her Sampson racing machine. The odds were not in her favor of keeping the impressive resume standing after a crash in the early stages of the championship event.

It wasn’t long before the 23 year old was climbing back behind the wheel to try to secure the championship. Blanchet was not satisfied with just riding around on the track. She would work her way to the front of the field and take the final checkered flag of the season to put an explanation point on her title bid.

“One word, wow!” said Blanchet after the effort.
